The ring might not have meant a thing to Kim Zolciak, but for Kandi
Burruss, the rock she received from Todd Tucker means the two are
engaged.
Each week viewers tune in to catch new and old relationships unfold
on “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” After watching Kandi surprise Todd
with a surprise 39th birthday party on the most recent episode, it’s
fans who are surprised by the news that Todd popped the question.
Kandi accepted Todd’s proposal of marriage on New Year’s Day, according to US Weekly. Kandi told US Weekly,
"I was totally surprised.” Todd reportedly made sure he got Kandi’s
daughter’s permission before proposing. After Riley approved, Todd got
down on his knee in front of family and friends inside the new home they
share.
While the news of an actual engagement might be surprising, many
“RHOA” saw it coming after the two moved in together and started
discussing having more babies. Kandi has had nothing but great things to
say about Todd and their relationship.
The “RHOA” star, who was able to keep the engagement a secret on
social networks, thanked her fans on Twitter for the blessings on
Tuesday. “Thanks to everyone that are sending their well wishes!
@Todd167 & I appreciate the love from you all!”she tweeted.
The 36-year-old singer admitted she was in love during the season 4
reunion show, and this season viewers finally got a first look on her
happy relationship with Todd, who she met when they were shooting the
reality series in Africa.
US Weekly reports, that the line-producer put a two-carat
diamond on Kandi’s finger. Hopefully this happy couple stays intact
unlike all the other divorces that have surfaced for each Bravo series.
