Ca$his - " 1,2,3, "(Feat. Royce Da 5'9") - {Audio}

Taken from his forthcoming album The Art Of Dying, ex-Shady Records representer Ca$his track “1, 2, 3″ alongside Royce Da 5’9″ goes hard. Jumping on a rock-inspired slice of production, courtesy of Rikanatti, the Chi-Town spitter is heard channeling 2Pac‘s “Hail Mary” – “1, 2, 3/ Is that how many suckers wanna… come get me?/ I promise ya, none of ya can… fuck with me.”
Originally at lyrical war with one another – Ca$his once called out Royce after something he said about Eminem back when the two longtime friends were beefing – Ca$his and Slaughterhouse‘s Royce Da 5’9″ seem to have settled their differences and buried the hatchet before this joint was conceived. The Art Of Dying which dropped on RBC Records make sure you check it out below.

L&S - "Walk The Line" - "Video"

I argue all the time that HipHop is a Culture not a Color this duo from the UK has proven my point once again.  When you have a female Emcee (Leddie), and male a male Emcee (Smoggy) as a HipHop Duo you are definitely going to be noticed.  Walk The Line is L&S's first single off their Sorry We're Late LP which dropped not to long ago.  When I found this Bonnie & Clyde Duo I just had to show them some love.  I like risk takers and they break a lot of industries don'ts but still manages to succeed in this genre of HipHop.

Mar Reynolds - "Planet X" - {Video}

 Charlotte native Mar Reynolds joint "Planet X" produced by PhantomOZ is one of my favorite tracks. This is just a sample of whats on his mixtape Attack. I can't remember the last time I've heard a Emcee lyrically murder you over slow R&B beat, this is Hardcore HipHop at its best. Checkout it out video below and tell us what you think.

Kelow - “Hit My Pager” (Ft. Tabi Bonney) - {Audio}

 From my home state representing South Maryland-hailing female rapper Kelow enlists DC Spitter and Blu-Roc affiliate Tabi Bonney as a special guest on “Hit My Pagera grimy new track from her forthcoming Stixxx-n-Stonez EP, this joint never gets old to me.
The young Baby Dinosaurs & Co affiliate, who has opened for Grand Hustle star Iggy Azalea in the past, trades punchlines with the more experienced Bonney over BDCO producer MXXM’s snarling, bass-driven beat, and comes off surprisingly well from the encounter, in which she raps about weed, women and pagers with all the venom of an unhinged ’90s child. Whilst the two come together for the hook, there’s an attuned aggression about the track which makes it well worth a listen.
With her Thugasaurus album also on its way soon, Kelow is definitely one to watch out for we definitely need some real female Emcees in the game.  Just listen to the track below and  you will see what I mean, the girl goes hard...!!!

M.G.K. - “Hold On"(Feat. Young Jeezy) - {Video}

 MGK‘s video for “Hold On (Shut Up),” which features Young Jeezy, is one of my favorite oldies but goods from MGK.
The video transitions from a nondescript broken-down house to a complex carjacking plot designed to bring in some more money, coming to a dramatic conclusion complete with a burning car, paralleling the fiery nature of a song borne from struggle. His energetic, rapid-fire flow thriving over the high energy, trap-influenced instrumental by JP Did This 1, MGK is unafraid to continue pushing the envelope, delivering a memorably graphic visual for a standout track from Lace Up, which was released on October 9th.
Watch the video for “Hold On (Shut Up)” below.

Uptown XO - "Rugged" - {Audio}

 Uptown XO is definitely put everything he got into his solo project "Colour de Grey." This track was produced by A.B. the Pro, feautuing none other than Obi Say and Awthentik spitting straight lyrics of feary.  Needless to say XO always breaks his bars down to a fraction of a second.  Man I love when I see the next generation spit with integrity, you know with REal Lryics and Emceein' that dying form of HipHop.  There are a lot of Dope artist coming out of the Diamond District

"The old heads gave us the game, and now I'ma give you the jewels"

Guilty Simpson & Apollo Brown - "Truth Be Told" - {Audio}

Dope track from Guilty Simpson and Apollo Brown. Truth Be Told, is a single from the collaborative LP Dice Game. Unlike lightweight rappers “scared to face the reality of truth,” Guilty Simpson gives you the REal deal.

Truth Be Told” finds the Motor City rhymer bearing his soul over a slow-burning soul chop that is trademark Apollo Brown. Guilty’s usual ferocity is tempered by his introspection, reminiscing back to times when he was hustling and living fast but without direction.
You want change? It starts with you.
Setting the tone for what you can expect on the full length, “Truth Be Told” hints at mature music, fundamentally sound hip-hop seasoned with substance and experience.

Homeboy Sandman - "Whatchu Want From Me" - {Official Video}

Another very underrated Emcee, Homeboy Sandman is definitely the truth.  Lyrically he would put most mainstream artist to bed.  His single "Whatchu Want From Me" off the First of A Living Breed album is a classic.  But don't take my word for it check it out for yourself or do whatever the F#@! you wanna do.....!!! (said in my HodgeTwins voice)

Rodd.D - "1990"(Brianna Pt.2)" - {Audio}

After his recent freestyle release over Nas’ beat “Stay”, Rodd.D jumps on a Bugseed instrumental and gives his fans a vivid story entitled "1990"(Brianna Pt.2) which is a continuation of songs about his Ex.
 I just took something that really happened to me and made a cool as story out of it, the only thing that isn’t real is me actually going to the bar then dying at the end.... Turning real life into a story is rather easy.. and it helps me connect with my fans so I stick to the script.- Rodd.D

Ray Abercrombie - "Headaches" (Prod. 9th Wonder) - {Audio}

  Ray Abercrombie, tackles yet another a vintage production.  This time around young Chicago south side resident knocks on the door of big brother 9th Wonder, to follow up his latest release/cover of Lauryn Hill's 'ExFactor'.  In homage to one of his home-town heroes, he recreates yet another classic with ease.  Included in this weeks release Ray decides to present us with his so-called "Nominalization Flow" provided with a post of his lyricism.  Nominalization, as he describes it, is "telling a story in metaphorical scenery" (lyrics posted below).  Now lets just see what our friends over at Rap Genius has to say about this.

Raymond Abercrombie has worked with the likes of super producer S1 (producer of Kanye West's 'Power' and Beyonce's 'Best I Never Had'), world renowned writer Rhymefest, city slicker Chance The Rapper, Saba of Pivot, Roy French, Max Payne and many others.  He is currently working the kinks out of his yet to be released project with fellow producers such as rapper/producer Reno Chinati and Q Beans.

Kenn Starr - "Say Goodbye" (Prod. Black Milk) - {Official Video}

Kenn Starr's releases visuals for his latest track "Say Goodbye" produced by Black Milk of the Square One LP.  Besides Marshall Mathers Detroit is filled with dope artist like Kenn Starr, who's like a J.Dilla disciple with his style and persona.  Detroit is still representing that REal and not talking about mainstream I'm talking about that underground HipHop. Mello Music Group have their ears to the street not doubt between them and Duck Down Records they are keeping REal HipHop alive.

Georgia Anne Muldrow & DJ Romes Blackhouse - "Lectrivunkin" - {Audio}

Georgia Anne Muldrow and DJ Romes united as Blackhouse,  a crew hellbent on resurrecting the electro-inspired dance-party fun of early HipHop with a modern twist. Their eponymous Mello Music Group album was greeted with arms wide open by older heads and young fans alike.

For those still out the loop, MMG and Blackhouse offer up “Lectrivunkin” for you to sample. Let the proverbial needle drop on a decent sound system and watch as people’s heads begin to bob, hips start to sway, and vibrations rise. The synth carves deep, producing a sound both beautiful and ominous. The nearly four minute song is vocal-less save for a sample reminding you the energy of this track is “out of control.”

Don’t be late to the party, Blackhouse is warmed up and groovin’. The last one to the jam is an L7…you know the rest. Make sure you support REal artist.

Mr Melody - "Cut It Cut It" (Ft. Roadrunnaz & Bolo) - {Video}

Mr. Melody is no stranger to music. His musical roots are vast and his melodic library reaches far. Mr. Melody was born in the states, but he spent many of his formidable years in Jamaica where the sounds of Alton Ellis, Dennis Brown and Gregory Isaacs echoed in the air establishing the musical palette for the future hit-maker. The energy and experiences from his childhood are his reference point for his musical creativity and the international sound that he has developed.

 His music career began in a unconventional manner. What began as a dare became the driving force for his approach to writing and performing music. Never backing down from a challenge, Mr. Melody grabbed the mic and forged the groundwork for his musical career. He has opened for such artists as Junior Reid, Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Mr. Vegas and many more. Mr. Melody is raw talent on the move! The singer/songwriter channels his reggae roots and merges R&B and pop production into music he calls “Feel Good Music”. Mr. Melody promises to deliver an edgy project that embodies the musical styles that inspire him. Unlike many of the manufactured artist of today, Mr. Melody fuses ‘old school’ flavor with a mainstream approach. His radio single and club banger “Wyne” is the first hit from his debut project set to release later this year.
