Devine Carama - "500 Bars To Glorious Pt 2" (9th Wonder Beats) - {Audio}

Devine got 2016 started with the first part of a jackin' for beats project entitled "500 Bars to Glorious". Today he returns with 180 bars for part 2 featuring nothing but classic instrumentals from the one & only 9th Wonder. Before releasing "The Glorious BIG" EP in the spring he plan on finishishg off this freestyle series by dropping part 3 really soon.

"For part 2 my approach was less "lyrical" than its predecessor.. I wanted drop more jewels on this one. More things to ponder on. 9th's beats have always inspired my pen. The soulful samples to the heavy yet dirty drums leaves you know choice to write something thought provoking. I know his born day just passed so the timing was perfect for me to pay homage." Today we bring y'all WateRR a Emcee coming out of Chicago who just released his "Broken Levee" EP.  His first single "Power" featuring Vic Spencer is one of the reasons he caught our attention.  During a time when it seem like most of mainstream HipHop is on some freakin' fashion show BS, we always get amped when featuring REal HipHop artist, spittin' that hardcore sh#!

ILLClinton - "Good" & "Yeah Yeah Yeah" - {Audio}

Georgia's dynamic artist/producer duo, ILLClinton, jump off the new year with two new tracks, "Good" and "Yeah Yeah Yeah".
Continuing to show you their musical renaissance, "Good" is just what the title implies: good vibes, good chemistry, and good music. Brennan, the group's versatile rapper/vocalist, bounces between rapping and singing effortlessly while setting the mood with his imagery on the extremely dope Blake Belair instrumental.
The song is definitely geared towards the ladies, but the fellas will definitely be able to turn up to the catchy, heavy hitting track.
"Yeah Yeah Yeah" is short and sweet. The beginning of the track dives straight into Brennan rapping/ vibing to the Blake Belair instrumental, before crooning at the end of this dope loosie track. These two brothers continue to deliver great music, and this 2016 is setting up to be a great year for the Atlanta natives.

Friday

Joe Con - "Mark Twain" EP - {Audio}

Fresh of his latest musical pilgrimage, Joe Con emerges with a succinct, powerful set of Boom-Bap bangers to remind us why we took notice of him in the first place. "Mark Twain", is a six song EP overflowing with knocking beats, intricate, thought provoking verses, and dizzying wordplay. This isn’t simply a return to form; it’s the next chapter in an already impressive artistic evolution.
Teaming up with producer iLLa Truth (MASSacre Music Group), Joe wastes no time in reminding listeners what he does best. The aptly titled opener – “Bookcover” – is both a statement of purpose and an open challenge: “I dare you judge a book by its cover...Joe practically begs his listeners to take the bait. They’ll be glad they did. Behind iLLa Truth’s dark and brooding production, built on chest-thumping drums and innovative melodies, Con’s powerful timbre and evocative imagery take center stage. The results are nothing short of excellent.

Wednesday

Stiff Lauren - "Same Me" (Major Lazer & DJ Snake - "Lean On" (Ft. MØ) Rap Cover) - {Audio}

Stiff Lauren releases a lyrical freestyle rap cover to Major Lazer's hit single "Lean On". I'm not going to lie normally we wouldn't feature a song like this but the fusion of both cultures worked out very well together on this joint. What makes this record really interesting, is how it was never originally a HipHop song.

Tuesday

LostPoet & Kincee - "BEATDEF" (Ft. inDJnous) - {Video}

I must admit the California HipHop scene has been on a successful incline ever since Kendrick Lamar became mainstream.  What I like about this movement the most is that they are Not trying to imitate the south Trap music.  It feels good to see REal HipHop comeback to the forefront, thanks to Emcees like LostPoet, Kincee, and DJ inDJnous
