Vanessa Bryant Addresses Drake Lyrics From "Stay Schemin"

Vanessa Bryant wants Drake to know that she may not have been shooting in the gym, but she was doing her part.
It's been months since "Stay Schemin'" came out, but Vanessa hasn't forgotten about Drake's infamous line: "B*tch, you wasn't with me shooting in the gym."
At the time, Drake was commenting on the fact that had their divorce been finalized, Kobe Bryant would have had to fork over $75 million to Vanessa. Although she may not have been helping Kobe perfect his jump shot, Vanessa hit up Instagram recently to let the world know that she was busy taking care of things behind the scenes.
"I love when immature kids quote a rapper that has never been friends with Kobe and knows nothing about our relationship," she wrote. "I don’t need to be in the gym. I’m raising our daughters, signing checks and taking care of everything else that pertains to our home life."
It's not clear what inspired Vanessa to speak on the song, which dropped in Spring of 2012, but she never found the line funny. She doesn't believe the public would be chuckling either if they considered what Drake's bars were actually about.
"I really wish people would stop THINK and then realize that they are being sucked into someone’s clear intention to monetize and gain attention off of our family’s heartache," Vanessa stated. "This is real life. I hold down our home life so my husband can focus on his career. It’s a partnership."
Now that that's off her chest, it seems like things are cool between Drake and the Bryants. "Since my husband [isn't] friends with Drake, we received a text of an apology forwarded from his manager," Vanessa revealed, failing to clarify when that mea culpa was actually sent. "It’s done and over with and it’s now time for people to THINK before speaking." Wow...this is crazy but I'm going to side with Drake on this one.  Many mothers handle business behind the scenes but they not getting 75 million so please.  And he has been taking care of your family because all of ya'll were poor.  All I'm saying is , yes the law says she gets half but in most cases its not really deserved.  But men need to be wiser tor prevent this sort of thing from happening. Tell me what you think.
