J. Cole Releases New Music At Footaction Event

Performing at a recent private Footaction event in Hollywood, Roc Nation signee J. Cole gave the intimate 30 plus audience an exclusive look at a few new tracks he’s been working on.
In a video from the event Cole is seen jamming with his band whilst reciting, and occasionally fumbling through, three never-before-heard tracks. The first is titled “Man On Fire”, the second “Crooked Smile” – a rhyme about the young emcee’s teeth, and the third is a verse over Jay-Z‘s acclaimed “Dead Presidents.”
Telling the crowd that his album is complete and ready to go, he says there’s just one thing he needs to wait for; “I’m honestly waiting for Kendrick Lamar to release his album and fuck up the world so I can come right after and fuck up the world. We gonna run a train on the world.”
