Taken from his upcoming album Love Out Loud and bearing the distinctively smooth voice that makes a welcome addition on any soulful playlist, Anthony David‘s new single “Can’t Look Down” takes an upbeat leap of faith into new romance, putting his relatable fears out in the open. Artist like Anthony David are a dying breed especially since the explosion of HipHop. Not to take anything away from HipHop but I'd like to have my Soul music separate from my HipHop lineup.
Having been nominated for a Grammy for his duet with India Arie on “Words,” Love Out Loud is the soulful singer’s fifth album to date. Comprised of 11 tracks including collaborations with Algebra Blessett, Demetria McKinney and Gramps Morgan, the Georgia native’s new album is set for released on November 13 through Purpose Music/eOne.
You can pre-order Love Out Loud via iTunes, and in the meantime, you wouldn’t be wasting your time to trace back through his solid, soulful prior projects; 3 Chords & the Truth, The Red Clay Chronicles, Acey Duecy and As Above So Below.
I heard him at the Capitol Jazz Fest this past summer. He is dope.ReplyDelete
