Friday,
November 30, 2012, the Delta Iota chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity,
Inc. hosted it’s annual Step Show. One of the largest in New Jersey.
They had step teams representing Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Sigma
Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and of
course their very own team from New York.
KAΨ had a few technical difficulties in the beginning, but they pulled through and gave a good show.
Next up,
Sigma Gamma Rho. Their performance was less than stellar, but they
picked up at the end when they were doing the tributes to Omega Psi Phi,
Iota Phi Theta, and Kappa Alpha Psi.
There was an
intermission, but they had some performances from a RU student who makes
music herself. The Alphas also bought out Mr. Ramel Carter. The
audience wasn’t very receptive to him, maybe because they expected him
to be like his uncle (Jay-Z). But regardless of the crowd, he gave a
great show.
After
intermission, of course I think they saved the best for last. They had a
team from Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. from New York. They did
their thing in their heels.
They saved
the best for last. The A-Team, also from New York, came out and KILLED
the stage. There was nothing left to do after they came out. Shout out
to Trey and his frat Brothers. They definitely murdered the stage.
They gave a great show. And it more than likely give an even better and bigger show next year!
