Nas Does A Campaign For Gap With His Father

Gap have pulled out all the stops for their new Christmas ads, with rap legend Nas and his Jazz musician father Olu Dara Jones starring in a visual that is sure to warm your hearts in the run up to the holidays. The Love Comes In Every Shade campaign aims to demonstrate all types of affection, such as ‘family love’, ‘self love’ and ‘puppy love’, with Nas and Olu seen representing ‘fatherly love’ as they embrace.

Although the words ‘rapper’ and ‘adorable’ are rarely used in the same sentence it’s difficult to find a more suitable way to describe the footage of the Brooklyn born superstar and his dad, who worked together in 2004 on “Bridging The Gap” from Nas’ Street’s Disciple album, especially when a candid snap of the two of them in their younger years is also shown. Aww!

Other famous faces included in the campaign are Rufus Wainwright, actress Aubrey Plaza, director Francis Ford Coppola and actor Michael J. Fox. Watch the ad below and prepare to feel warm and fuzzy.
