Queens-bred spitter Nutso splits bars with Q-Boro mic vet Royal Flush and Brooknam’s Shabaam Sahdeeq (a/k/a S-Dub) on “Blowing Up,” off his EP, Behind These Bars. Remixed by ELPresBeats and featuring a well-timed scratch hook courtesy of Chinch 33, “Blowing Up (ELPresBeats Remix)”
carries a rugged yet nostalgic soundscape over quotables from Biggie,
Artifacts, Mobb Deep, Slum Village and more. Sit back and enjoy the ride
as these three emcees stand and deliver.
ELPresBeats is
a boombap sample based beatmaker from the Netherlands. In 2007 he made a
trip to New York to make connections in the hiphopscene. In 2011 he
released a 12" vinyl record titled EL Pres - Glenwood Hostel EP, a producer EP that focuses on beats, rhymes and turntablism. It features the raps of NY underground mc's Jak Danielz (Cold Heat), Nutso (Poor Pocket Muzik), Starvin B, former unsigned hype (the Source) Marvalous and Creature (Rebelmatic,
Triflicts, Infesticons). The scratches are done by multiple Dutch DMC
champ and runner up Battle for World Supremacy 2005 DJ Irie and fellow turntable virtuosi DJ Friss and DJ Milton.
All of their names are different as hell.
