PHONTE is a great example of how you can remain Underground your entire career and still make a decent living. Formally of the group Little Brother along with Rapper Big Pooh and super producer 9th Wonder. PHONTE consistently puts out dope music which enables him to build on his fan base. He was able to do this with absolutely no radio hits or major record label. You see hard work does pay off, hell he probably make more money than your favorite artist. (Besides Jay-Z , Kanye, Drake etc..) Take your career in your own hands people and don't allow "The Industry" to control your future.
