Imperial "Zone Out" (Ft. K.I.N.E.T.I.K.) - AUDIO DOWNLOAD
Zone Out is the new single from Imperial and features talented UK
rapper, K.I.N.E.T.I.K. Imperial's soulful yet gritty production
draws you into the mind of K.I.N.E.T.I.K. as he tackles issues of
self-esteem, social networking and some of bigger philosophical
questions of life. This is the first all UK release from Illect
Recordings.
Imperial and K.I.N.E.T.I.K. hooked up about 9 months
ago and have been plotting and scheming ever since. They decided to
work on some original music after K.I.N.E.T.I.K.remixed a song of his called
Memory Lane. They share a similar music taste, and the beat for
‘Zone Out' came about fairly swiftly fitting both of our styles.
The main sample used in the song has been flipped a few times
before (HipHop heads will know!), but Imperial wanted to put my own
stamp and twist on it bringing it to life once again. Another
studio session is already booked so don't be surprised to hear
more music from them in the future.

T.R.A.C. - "Sea Of Tranquility" (MPadrums Remix) - (FREE DOWNLOAD)
Blunted Astronaut proudly presents 'Sea Of Tranquility", a special one-year anniversary picture disc record.
It's hard to believe that already twelve months have passed since the
release of Astronaut's first, and now a very sought-after 7" - 'Stay
True' featuring T.R.A.C., Drumat!c and IceRocks.
During that that time, we've managed to establish a steady, and
continuous flow of incredible releases. It was only appropriate to come
up with something unique to celebrate this very fruitful year.
The fact that BA once again teamed up with Brooklyn MC, T.R.A.C. is no coincidence, the picture disc format...only appropriate.
'Sea Of Tranquility' takes the listener on a hypnotic flight through
the upper stratosphere to a very special place. The very calm and eerie
instrumental (produced by D Melodious) acts here as a quick anesthetic.
The message becomes clear after only few opening verses.
'Show Ready...(Ya Know?)' is a head-nodder that gives the listener a
jolt of positive energy. T.R.A.C.'s impeccable flow combines perfectly
with Dee's knocking beat to create another sure shot. Ya know?

9th Wonder Unveils New Secret Weapon From His Jamla Army "GQ"
They say it’s different across the
bridge, and there is something definitely different about GQ. In the words
of 9th Wonder, simply put, “he’s a star”. GQ, who Grammy Award winning
producer, 9th Wonder, coins his “secret weapon” is not only a former NCAA
basketball champion, but in fact Oakland’s next Hip Hop hero.
Born and raised in Oakland, California, GQ (also known as Quentin Thomas)
found his passion for music at an early age; nine to be exact. Influenced
by a wide array of music genres and artist, the young GQ became a fan of lyrics
and started to pen his first rhymes; all while training to be a college hoops
star. In 2004 he was recruited by Roy Williams to play for the University of North Carolina’s storied basketball
program; and was a member of the 2005 National Championship team his freshman
year. Some years later, and already a champion of one passion, he was well
on his way to being a champion of his other - rhyming.
GQ signed with 9th Wonder in 2009, one of the last
artists to join the budding Jamla roster, which has grown to be one of the most
buzzed about indie labels today. Of the multi-talented emcee, 9th Wonder
says, “he isn’t a basketball player that can rhyme; he is a rapper that can
ball.” His style is passionate, controlled, lyrical and he is a master of
telling the gritty, dark tales of the place we know as “OakTown”.
In 2010, GQ was featured on EA Sports’ NBA
Live 10 video game, alongside Mississippi’s own, David Banner. The
following year, the Oakland emcee released a few
singles, and a three-part mixtape series, entitled “Blended”, before unleashing his
first project under the Jamla imprint “Trouble
Man.”
Currently, GQ is setting up for a big 2013 introduction
with his two part release, “Death Threats and Love Notes”, the
prequel and his debut album. GQ’s “Death Threats and Love Notes: The
Prelude” EP features guest appearances from Nipsey Hussle, Kurupt,
Rapsody, Heather Victoria and production from 9th Wonder & The
Soul Council. GQ’s “Death Threats & Love Notes: The Prelude”
EP will be released On
3-26-2013 via Jamla
Records.

Assata Shakur Has Become The First Woman On The FBI's Most Wanted Terrorist List!!!
HipHopNews24/72 Pac Aunt 'Assata Shakur' Has Become The First Woman On The FBI's Most Wanted Terrorist List. -- The aunt of the late rapper Tupac Shakur has become the first woman to be included on the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorist list. Assata Shakur – also known as Joanne Chesimard – was convicted for the 1973 murder of US policeman Werner Foerster in 1977, but escaped from prison two years later.
Shakur was a member of the Black Liberation Army, who allegedly shot Foerster in the head after she was pulled over by the state trooper and his partner for having a broken tail light, states New Jersey police. She has now made the FBI's official list of Most Wanted Terrorists, after being on the run for almost 35 years. The reward for Shakur's capture stands at $2 million.
Shakur has been living in Cuba since 1984, reports the Independent, where the FBI believes she has links to international terrorist organisations.
New Jersey State Police Superintendent Col. Rick Fuentes said in a recent news conference: "She continues to flaunt her freedom in the face of this horrific crime."
Shakur's brother was Tupac's stepfather. Tupac was shot and killed in Las Vegas in 1996.

According to the report, cops responded to Kelly's home Wednesday afternoon and found the 34-year-old lying on the living room couch.
Both paramedics who arrived to the scene said Kelly was unresponsive and had "no life signs." They attempted to revive Kelly, to no avail.
Cops then spoke with Kelly's friend, Donna, who told officers ... the night before Kelly's medical emergency, he had taken a mixture of heroin and cocaine.
Donna told police she had taken Kelly home to recover from the drug use and had done this "several times in the past."
Donna told cops Kelly had felt nauseous all morning before passing out.
