I went to an Open-Mic Night spot this past weekend and wow people really don't know what REal HipHop sounds like. I feel as though we need to separate the different genres of HipHop. The latest rap sub-genre is Mumble Rap, well I feel we need a category with that name at the award shows. I was so disappointed from that experience I decided to feature REal HipHop groups from the Golden Era starting this week. Brand Nubian is this weeks feature, just to remind us of our roots and hopefully help influence new Emcees to be more created.
