When Divas Attack: Nicki Minaj Vs Mariah Carey

Now normally we don't speak of matters like this at UnsungHipHop.Com but we couldn't resist this article.  It seems whenever two powerful females work together on a TV show, the inevitable rumours of feuding between them often ensues, but never has there been such a massive blow up as this. During the audition stages of American Idol the drama got started as Nicki Minaj showed her more thuggish side by launching an attack on fellow Idol judge and diva extraordinaire Mariah Carey.
In the rant, you can hear Minaj stating, “I told them I’m not f—ing putting up with her f—ing highness over there,” referring to Mariah.
She also hints that Mariah’s snide comments were maybe the reason it all kicked off, saying, “Don’t tell me I’m a gangster. I’m not gonna sit here every f–king minute to have you come down and harass me every minute everyday.”
Keith Urban was akwardly stuck in the middle of the two, trying to calm things down and diffuse the situation before it got out of hand – probably a wise move, since sources in the room also say that Minaj threatened to “knock out” Carey, although that part was not caught on tape.
The bust up took place on Tuesday while filming in North Carolina, and auditions were consequently put on hold for the day to avoid further problems.
It was only a few weeks ago that feuding rumours started on the first day all the judges got together, however Minaj had taken to Twitter denying any kind of feuding was happening, so things must have gone South real quick as the video below shows.
