CyHi The Prynce - "Legend" - {Official Video}

Now I know most rappers brag and boast about being the greatest and using exaggerated lyrics to big themselves up but, CyHi The Prynce doesn't have to lie about his legacy.  Unlike Jay-Z who has a personal catalog, most rappers would kill for.  CyHi's is known for writing dope content for numerous famous Emcees who mostly will remain nameless.  

But just to give you an idea of the caliber of stars he writes for, Kanye is one of those elites who utilize the talents of Prynce.  It would be nice if he kept them for himself but the business of HipHop isn't that simple.  He's probably one of the few underground millionaires in HipHop, which is cool because these days it's best to be lowkey with your wealth.

Sean Price - "Peep My Words & Monkey Barz" - {Official Video}

Just couple tracks down memory lane to remind the youngsters what REal HipHop sound like.  Sean Price, another HipHop legend gone before his time will always be in my top five dopest lyricist.  From all the fallen soldiers in HipHop Sean P. is by far the one that hits close to my heart.  This could have been my brethren in life and in business I will see you in the afterlife bro peace. 

The Roots - Tiny Desk Concert - (Ft. Bilal) - {Video}

When these mega artist grace the stage you are definitely in for a show of a lifetime.  The Roots is HipHop grown up, they bring the Jazz and the Poetry into one arena with style and class.  Bilal is pretty much our underground version of Prince, his voice makes any song legendary and he can perform any genre of music.  This matchup was bound to happen when the earth and stars are aligned with one another.  That being said check out the video below if you are a REal fan of HipHop/Soul music. 

Madvillain - "All CAPS" - {Official Video}

Hands down MF Doom aka Madvillain is definitely one of my top 5 Emcees of all time.  It's a shame it took a tragedy to create the persona we see today but as a fan that's one hell of a comeback.  From being an okay rapper to one of the dopest underground Emcees is one hell of a "Rags to Riches" story.  I wished he would have created more videos for his dope azz classics.  But thanks to his massive following we have at least a few visuals to gaze upon.

ONYX & Wu-Tang Clan - "The Worst" - {Official Video}

I just had to show some love to two of the most iconic HipHop groups that basically ruled the 90's.  Once upon a time, HipHop artists were allowed to be Alpha men on mainstream media those days are gone.  ONYX was a force to be reckoned with along with Wu-Tang Clan.  

These days you notice there are hardly any more HipHop groups especially ones that display masculinity on camera in the mainstream.  I'm not against people being whomever they want to be I'm just saying black men being soft or feminine is being forced into our veins like crack.  I'm sure the men who can relate will understand, in the meantime, let us take a look back when HipHop was great!!
