The Midwest rapper Jeffrey Terrell Dean affectionately known as Bo Dean, hails from Hazelwood Mo. The St. Louis rapper is building and influential music industry insiders including, Crooked I from Slaughterhouse, Freeway from Roc-A-Fella and Project Pat of Three 6 Mafia are just of few who are sitting up and taking notice. Bo Dean is continuing on his road to success with his signature fro in tow,entering mainstream with his upcoming 2016 releases, Fromerica and Bo(eau) Squared.

This is a jewel that flew under the radar back in 2014.  Sa-Roc has been on her grind for years now, droppin' that REal HipHop with dope lyrics and deep messages.  Originally I wasn't a fan of David Banner, but like T-Pain he too has seen the dark side of the industry and wanted to make a change.  I'm glad this brotha decided to join the movement by helping us take back HipHop from the "Machine".  Please make sure you checkout Sa-Roc if you haven't already. And support the new David Banner for those he like that conscious HipHop like myself.  And shout out to Sol Messiah, with his production skills he helped Sa-Roc career reach another stratosphere.  

Dead Prez - "No Way As The Way" - {Official Video}

 Dead Prez outdid themselves with their single "No Way As The Way" off their “Information Age” LP available here.  If you haven't purchased this album yet you are not a true fan of HipHop.  Following in a tradition most Emcees never dare to tread,  Dead Prez  are one of the few Hardcore HipHop groups to make being smart in the Hood look cool.  Just about every last one of their tracks is about unity and empowerment.  There are only a hand full of Emcees today who has taken a similar path, Immortal Technique, KRS-One, SA-ROC and Jedi Mind Tricks just to name a few.  Check out the video below and then go purchase this album if you want to support REAL HIPHOP.  A Revolution might not be televised but it sure could use a Stimulus Package.
