Apollo Brown & Planet Asia - "The Aura" - {Official Video}

Hands down I don't think I've heard of a doper duo between artist and beatmaker since Eric B & Rakim.  I'm talkin' about that gritty hardcore HipHop not the pop music in HipHop clothing.  Apollo Brown & Planet Asia while well respected in the underground world they don't get the credit they deserve.  It's a good thing our site doesn't have any major sponsors because we will always promote REal artist no matter how "controversial" they are.

Wednesday

Sean Price - "Bar-Barian" - {Official Video}

Real talk every time I think of an artist gone too soon my first thought is Sean Price and then O.D.B. not to mention the other half of Mobb DeepSean is definitely on my top 5 list if I was to create one.  We need to show appreciation for our Heroes while they are alive, it's a sad tradition we have only celebrating people after they have crossed over.

Nevertheless, his music will last 2 lifetimes, yes he has that much music already recorded.  Make sure you support if you are a real fan, his family still eats off his music.  So purchase, don't stream, it's not the same profit margin ask any artist on any of those platforms.

Tuesday

Bas - "Penthouse" - {Official Video}

Dreamville signed artist Bas might not have the commercial success of its founder (J. Cole) but he is blazin' in these underground streets.  A perfect example of how most artists don't get the same push as the "Trap Music" artist.

I feel those folks behind the curtain only want to promote the dumbest genre of HipHop.  Those artists get the accolades and the richest while the REal artist have to work 10 times as hard to make 1/4 of the money.  The moral of the story is support REal HipHop, that means purchase your music don't scream it.

Friday

U-God - "Epicenter" (Ft. Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, Jackpot Scotty Wotty) - {Official Video}

I just finished reading U-God's book "RAW", and it was awesome.  The book answered a lot of my questions while leaving a few unmentioned.  I was hoping this book would energize U-God's career and he would finally get the recognition he deserves.

I love his latest project but I wish Wu-Tang would get their business and personal issues in order so we can get some new Wu classics and not that lackluster fluff released lately.  It's bad enough we lost ODB, but we still have 9 other members left, put those egos aside and make it happen HipHop really needs Y'all.

Thursday

Krondon - "Hang On" - {Official Video}

Now I would be lying if I told Y'all I've been following Krondon's career since the beginning.  Let's just say I had to do some homework after seeing his interview on Sway In The Morning.  Then I was like damyum.....how did I miss this, nevertheless better late than never.  Needless to say, if we are featuring him today it means he must have some serious Bars no doubt.  Check out one of his classic joints below and tell me what y'all think.
