Styles P is one of the great legends in HipHop. (Random Fact: Before the group, The Lox signed with Puffy they were called The WarLox.)  Styles P is known for spitting street knowledge about life in the hood and he is proof veteran HipHop artist can strive without negative lyrics or signed to a major label.

I must admit I wasn't a fan earlier in his career I couldn't relate to his lyrics and I was on my De La Soul tip.  But now I'm a true fan of his music and his movement of living a vegan lifestyle.  It's amazing where human growth can take us with time and maturity.  Check out the visuals to his latest single below and tell us what you think.

All hail the true Queen of HipHop, being popular or rachet doesn't make you the best.  This Queen has been in power since 2012 but because she speaks positively about black empowerment artist like her don't get the media "push" those other reality HipHop clowns get.  Sa-Roc is the best female Emcee for almost a decade.  

She has the skill, the look, the dope in-depth lyrics that will put you in an educational trace of black history.  She is probably thousands of years ahead of our time just like Common.  And one day they will read about her in scripture a thousand years from now. If you want to support REal HipHop start with Emcees that enlightened us not the buffoons the White Supremacist use to keep us in the dark.

Tobe Nwigwe - "EWU" - {Official Video}

What's good fam, we are back from our hiatus to bring you more dope underground, under the radar, and UnsungHipHop artist.  We thought to start up the new year with probably one of the most slept on artist Tobe Nwigwe.  

While real HipHop heads like Sway, Erykah Badu, and Dave Chappelle showed Mr. Nwigwe some love most of those lame so-called "Black Radio" didn't give my man the proper acknowledgment.  But no problem that's why we are here just in case you missed this phenomenal talented brotha, his wife Fat and producer LaNell Grant. We featured one of our favorites joint off the The Originals LP.

Sean Price - "How Sean P! Stole Christmas" - {Video}

Sean Price has transcended with the ancestors, but his music will live forever. This is my favorite Christmas song of all time.  Make sure while you are giving the Corporations back the hard earned money you made, pay your bills first. When are we going to learn that these Holidays were designed to take your money, ok that's it I'm off my soapbox.  Sean wrote this song but it was all to make fun of the Non-believers, he was a 5 Percenter just like Busta Rhymes, Erykah Badu and myself.  Happy Holidays Mother Suckas...!!  R.I.P. Sean Price!!!

Tha Night Hawks - "In The Studio" - {Officail Video}

Tha Night Hawks are a HipHop collective coming out of Charlotte, NC. The group consists of Charles Herron, Vinny Knuckles & DJ Wizdom. This single is of their new joint which will be announced soon.  Make sure you keep an eye out for this trio, it looks like the cycle of great HipHop is coming back around.  No more "Bling, Bling", well at least for another 20 years.
