BigBoy Sits Down With Tyler, The Creator - {Video}

I must admit sometimes Tyler, The Creator irritates me at times but for the most part this is my kind of guy.  He's probably one of the smartest young people in the game and he's not afraid of letting you know.  In this interview he breaks down life after his debut album Yonkers.

Mr. MFN eXquire - “Dom Perignon at the Days Inn” - {Audio}

 Mr. MFN eXquire hasn't slowed down after the release of his Power & Passion EP. Word on the street is that he’s already gearing up to drop a new mixtape with his posse, enitled The Passion Tape Vol 1: VivaLaPassion, and new single “Dom Perignon at the Days Inn” sets a aggressive tone with a strong rowdy delivery.  Now this is my style of rap.

Tuesday

Quelle Chris - "Rappin A$$" (Ft. Denmark Vessey) - {Audio}

  Quelle Chris & MMG kick off  this joint back in 2013 with this joint called "Rappin A$$"
A song scientifically engineered to make you laugh the phony rappers in the game who based their image off of HipHop cliches.  Featuring my man Denmark Vessey and produced by House Shoes, this is one of my favorite joints from these two.
"Rappin ass ni&&as always be hittin refresh
on youtube to see if they counts went up"

Monday

Travis Barker & Yelawolf - “Whistle Dixie” - {Official Video}

  Travis Barker and Yelawolf are the like the "white" versions of Red & Meth because of how their chemistry mesh so well.  Their video for “Whistle Dixie” which is taken from their forthcoming collaborative EP Psycho White is a true testiment to that.
The creepy visual features a guest appearance from actor Danny Trejo as well as the Riverside Community College Drum Line who perform alongside the Alabama hailing rapper and the Californian drummer and producer.

Thursday

Sean Price “Genesis of the Omega" - {Official Video}

Sean Price is probably one of the most underrated Emcees alive.   Genesis Of The Omega off his Mic Tyson album is one of my favorite joints off that album.  Sean P has a very creative perspective on life and how he chooses to express his artistry.  Now that he's the head of Duck Down Records expect nothing but the best with P at the helm.

"The Genesis of the Omega sounded better than the start of the ending. I was just trying to be slick with the words. The Genesis, you know that's the beginning of The Bible. The Omega, that's the end. On some punk shit, read too many comic books...lol - Sean P!

Wednesday

Jimmy B - "Faith & Hope" - {Official Video}

http://www.whutupdoe.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/1145023181-1.jpg
  When I said Canada is on fire I meant it, here is a perfect example.  Toronto native, Jimmy B "Jimmy Eats World," mixtape reminds me of the Golden Era of HipHop. Even the visuals for "Faith & Hope" has a 90's feel to it.  Any Emcee showing homage to the old school HipHop is always cool with me.  Let us know what do ya'll think.

Tuesday

 New Jersey's most slept on wordsmith Solo For Dolo has been rocking stages for a minute now, sharing the stage with some of the greats from Matisyahu to The Wailers. With Maker (Qwel&Maker, Glue) behind the production he's on a great path for success.

Monday

Kid Kid - "Platinum" - {Official Video}

Formally a member of the Young Money (twice) and now a member of G-Unit, Kid Kid stays focus pursuing his dreams despite all his setbacks.  This is one of my favorite songs by him showing us a deeper side of his personality.  I know under the mentorship of 50 Cents, he's bound to reaching his goals.

Sunday

Kendrick Lamar - “Collect Calls” - {The UnOfficial Video}

kendrick-lamar-good-kid-maad-city album cover sc
 The creative High5Collective who were responsible for some of the most impressive unofficial visuals released over the last couple of years, including visual accompaniments for tracks by The Weeknd, Tyler, The Creator, Frank Ocean and more, return with their first video of the new year.
Turning their attention to the THC produced “Collect Calls”, a bonus track from the iTunes deluxe edition of Kendrick Lamar‘s critically acclaimed album good kid, m.A.A.d city, the collective deliver a tale involving suburban teenagers, drugs, alcohol and violence juxtaposed with religious imagery. Kendrick is a true prodigy in my eyes his artistic ability never fails to amaze me.  Real artist are born not taught or manufactured.  Checkout this track below.

Wednesday

Uptown XO - "Colour de Grey" - {Audio}

DMV representative Uptown XO just released Colour de Grey LP, a self-consciously retro album worth downloading.
The DC rapper, part of the Diamond District group, has already released videos for two singles from the project and they left a strong impression. On “Good Vibes” he teamed up with long-time collaborator Ab the Pro to fine effect, combining lyrics that reflected on the “grey skies” over America with a soothing, throwback chord change. Then, just last week he released some stirring visuals for  ”Petey Greene”, another Ab the Pro production, which sampled ’70s soul and the voice of Washingtonian TV personality Petey Greene to fine effect. Indeed, the partnership between XO and Ab the Pro, who produces all but one of the tracks on the tape, lends the project a real coherence and smoothness.
As well as the tracks mentioned above, the mixtape includes a feature from South Bronx native The Kid Daytona (another nostalgic advocate of classic late 80s/ early 90s sounds) and Tranquill.

Sunday

Rome Clientel - "Enter The Catacombs" - {Official Video}

My man Rome Clientel is always staying busy, here is one of my favorite joints "Enter The Catacombs".  They don't make HipHop like this anymore so we try our best to find the dopest PoetsEmcees, Producers, and Artist.  Tell a friend and help us keep REal HipHop alive, make a donation below.  Thanks we appreciate all the support over the years.

Tuesday

Emɐnuǝl X - "Part Of The Plan" - {Audio}

http://edge-img.datpiff.com/m89e371a/ELG_Deadstock-front-large.jpg
 Philadelphia's own Emɐnuǝl X single "Part Of The Plan" off of his DEADSTOCK mixtape takes you deep into his story. HipHop is a culture but ultimately it's an expression of art which can be powerful in the right hands. With that being said, we're subjected to subliminal messaging through the media everyday, and Emɐnuǝl is trying to interfere with those negative messages and replace them with some positive ones with his own self expression.  This ladies and gentlemen is what I call a True Artist, it's a shame most artist are afraid to express themselves.  But I do understand why they don't, being poor most of your life then offered money which empowers you to take care of your family but at the cost of selling your soul and telling lies to the people, is a tough choice to make.  Ok enough speeches checkout the video below, go out and support Real HipHop.

Sunday

J. Dilla - "Dewitt To Do It" (Off The Lost Scrolls Vol.1 EP) - {Audio}

 A tribute to J. Dilla’s a 4 track EP entitled “Lost Scrolls” from the legend himself is now available for purchase. Here is the 1st standout track off the album, which features Dilla spittin’ in his signature rhyme style over the track.  R.I.P. you surely left us too soon, this joint right here is dope.

Saturday

Diggy Simmons - "New God Flow" - [Video]

Diggy shows everyone what his lyrical skills are all about on this joint right here.  I'm looking forward to the moment when the world gets see how truly talented he is.   I wasn't always a fan of young rappers because their content never held my attention.  Diggy Simmons is definitely a exception to the rule, there aren't too many father and son Emcees.

Friday

Common And J. Period - "The Next Chapter (Still Love H.E.R.)" - {Audio}

The DJ/producer J. Period did his thing on his 4th mixtape "Rage is Back".  On this single he teams up with Common to do this dope azz rendition of Common's classic I Used To Love H.E.R. with this new joint called The Next Chapter(I Still Love H.E.R.).  I can remember when Common first hit the scene most people weren't ready for him and I always used to say he was rapping before his time.  You can listen to any of Common's older albums and realize most things he rapped about then is still relevant now, just like super soul singer Marvin Gaye.  I keep saying this True Artist Are Born Not Manufactured..!!  Be sure to checkout the track below and let us know what you think.
