Leon Marin - "Ghetto" (Prod. By Ryan Harrison) - {Video}

Leon Marin wrote this song to express his experiences growing up in a neighborhood a lot of young black males are too familiar with.  He wanted people to understand he grew up surrounded by a lifestyle that sucks in most of our black males, yet he was able to overcome it. Leon describes the term "ghetto" basically as a place we can't leave because it's a mental bondage not necessarily a physical one.  Ghetto will be available for download upon the release of Leon Marin's mixtape, "Wish Me Success" on July 11th.  Make sure you go out support REal HipHop, in the meantime checkout the video below.

DJ Q-Fingaz - "Progression" (Ft. Masta Ace) - {Video}

DJ Q-Fingaz is a busy man, on this project he joins forces with Masta Ace for "Progression" which is off of the album Qllection.  I must say watching this video almost made me cry, it made me feel like " Wow HipHop used to be so Dope".  I mean really it gave me that Golden Era of HipHop feeling. That feel good sensation but I'll still knock your block off your shoulders feeling. There is nothing like an artist being true themselves, instead of following industry gimmicks. "There is nothing worse than some jive sucka pushin' Smack to the Kids" - Black Dynamite.  But that's my take you be the judge go check it out for yourself, or do whatever the F#@! you wanna do.....!!!
